“Brilliant Baltimore” and Light City
Light City and the Baltimore Book Festival join forces:
Every year, Baltimore is awash in art and light installations. This year, Baltimore’s Light City festival has changed to a different time of year, to allow for cooler temperatures and less rain from its previous spring timeline. It now coincides with the Baltimore Book Festival, and both festivals make up the event called Brilliant Baltimore.
Light City in Baltimore
Light City was always one of our favorite festivals in Baltimore. It brought residents out from their homes, brought people from the surrounding Counties into the city, and helped to highlight local and international artists and their inspiring work.
Baltimore Book Festival
Our favorite independent book shops, Ivy Bookshop and Red Emmas, countless authors, many literary groups/societies, and the Enoch Pratt Library come together for this year’s Baltimore Book Festival. There will be readings, discussion, and performances.
